Day one. We are playing random games. This is a new Steam mechanic — for the first two days of the festival you can play random games, after which the selection becomes personalized and Steam starts suggesting games similar to the ones you play. It is meant to help sell us more games and wishlists.

A strategy game with a horizontal map. Our base is on the left, the enemy spawn is on the right, and the enemies march toward the base. At the base we build resource buildings and produce units; the units go on the attack against the enemies, while the enemies attack our units and the base.

Gameplay in the demo: we build fields and food is generated, build a sawmill and wood is generated, build houses and gold is generated. We build a barracks and inside it we train warriors or archers — that’s it. After that we build even more resource buildings and resources are generated faster, which lets us produce units faster. The music tracks are cool.

Unfortunately, that’s where the demo ends (or maybe we just didn’t find any other mechanics). It feels like the team rushed into the festival, because they won’t get another chance like this with this game. And a festival can bring wishlists, fill the community with new fans, and get you noticed by the press and influencers.
There are about 5 minutes of gameplay right now; we waited a whole 14 minutes for new mechanics (thinking maybe stronger enemies would appear) — they never came.
Overall the gameplay type is quite fun, the genre has an audience and many different variations of mechanic sets.
